How Rebase uses essential storage, optional self-hosted analytics, optional self-hosted live chat, security verification, and cookie preferences on the website.

Last updated: June 18, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Rebase uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit https://rebase.agency. It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and how you can control optional analytics and live chat.

Essential storage keeps the website and your preference working. Optional analytics and live chat run only when you enable the relevant category. Security verification for the inquiry form is required to protect the form from abuse.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, scripts, browser APIs, and security signals that store or access information on a device.

First-party cookies are set by the website you visit. Third-party cookies or technologies are set or accessed by another party. Rebase uses first-party local storage for consent preferences, optional self-hosted services after consent, and Cloudflare Turnstile for inquiry-form security.

2. Essential storage

The website stores your cookie preference in local storage under the key rebase-cookie-consent. This record includes the consent version, whether analytics is enabled, whether live chat is enabled, and the update timestamp.

This storage is necessary so we can respect your choice and avoid asking on every page view. Rejecting optional categories does not prevent essential preference storage.

3. Optional analytics

If you enable Analytics, we load self-hosted Plausible from Rebase-controlled infrastructure. Plausible helps us understand aggregate website traffic and improve the site. Analytics data is not sent to a third-party analytics SaaS provider.

If Analytics is disabled, the Plausible script is not loaded on a fresh page session.

4. Optional live chat

If you enable Live chat, we load self-hosted Chatwoot from Rebase-controlled infrastructure. Chatwoot provides live chat and preserves conversation continuity. Chat data is not sent to a third-party live-chat SaaS provider.

If Live chat is disabled, the Chatwoot script is not loaded on a fresh page session. If you turn Live chat off after enabling it, the website closes the widget, hides the bubble, resets the Chatwoot session, and clears known Chatwoot cookies where possible.

5. Security verification

The inquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile as a required anti-abuse check. Turnstile may process signals such as IP address, TLS fingerprint, user-agent header, sitekey, origin, and related security metadata to determine whether a submission is legitimate.

Turnstile is used for website security and is not controlled by the optional Analytics or Live chat choices.

6. How can I control cookies?

You can reject optional categories, accept all optional categories, or save separate choices for Analytics and Live chat in the cookie banner. You can reopen the same settings at any time from the "Cookie settings" button in the website footer.

If you clear browser storage for this website, your saved preference will be removed and the banner may appear again.

7. How can I control cookies in my browser?

Browser controls vary, but most browsers let you delete cookies, clear local storage, block cookies, or set site-specific permissions. These controls may affect website features that rely on stored preferences or chat continuity.

8. How often will you update this Cookie Policy?

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to cookies, storage, infrastructure, services, or legal obligations. The date at the top of this policy shows when it was last updated.

9. Where can I get further information?

If you have questions about our use of cookies or similar technologies, contact us at [email protected].
